Madisyn Shipman, once a child star on Nickelodeon, has been exploring new aspects of herself since she joined Playboy’s creator platform.

She used to feel like she couldn’t express her sexuality or show her body, explained Shipman, who is now 20 years old, in an interview with Fox News Digital published on Friday, September 29.

She further explained that she thinks a big reason for that is because she grew up on a Nickelodeon show. They taught her not to wear revealing clothes, not to show too much skin, and always to be seen as a little girl. When that chapter of her life ended, she struggled to figure out who she really was.

Shipman gained fame by playing Kenzie Bell on Nickelodeon’s Game Shakers for three seasons. After the show concluded in 2019, she vowed she’d never join a paid platform like Playboy or OnlyFans.

She always told her fans that she’d never join a paid creator platform because she didn’t want to expose her body, Shipman admitted.

That didn’t align with her goals. She made this clear to Playboy, and they reassured her, saying, ‘You don’t have to do that.’

Madisyn Shipman is comfortable posing in bikinis

Although Shipman has chosen not to reveal everything on the platform, she’s comfortable posing in bikinis or lingerie. She expressed that now, she is taking back control. She is embracing her sexuality. “I’m doing what makes me happy,” Shipman added.

Shipman also said that she finds it empowering to be able to pose like this and feel confident in her own skin. She loves her body, so being able to do this in a respected space and receiving so much love and support is truly rewarding.

While using the platform, Shipman has received some “unusual requests,” but she has firmly established her boundaries regarding what she’s comfortable sharing with her subscribers.

“I don’t entertain the ones that I’m not comfortable with just because there’s no sense in me stepping out of who I am as a person,” she said. “And I’m very open and honest about that. I’m like, ‘Look, I totally respect you, but that’s just not who I am. I’m not comfortable with that, but maybe we can work something else out.’”

The former child star also expressed her gratitude for her fans’ support of her new venture, which is not only helping her financially but also supporting her music career and covering her living expenses.

She has her own home, and she is fully self-sufficient. She has a lot of financial freedom, and she wouldn’t be in this position if it weren’t for Playboy, Shipman revealed to Fox.
